The Glensound Silver COIN 4016 commentator panel is a dual commentator and intercom panel for use with RTS intercom systems such as ODIN and OMS. The design is based on the RTS DKP-4016 16 key desktop panel, and it can be used standalone or integrated with a comms matrix. The panel uses OMNEO technology and is fully interoperable with DANTE and AES67 systems on both intercom and commentary audio circuits. The panel can also be operated in analogue mode with direct analogue outputs taken from both commentator microphones.

AZ Edit User Programmable Logic statements (UPLs)
As the COIN-4016 is intended for use by two commentators, and because the same microphone is used for commentary and intercom audio, a large number of logic functions are required in the programming software, AZ Edit. The construction of these User Programmable Logic (UPL) statements is time consuming and tedious, so a template is provided.
Please note that this template is based on using 2 COIN-4016 panels connected to an ODIN or OMS, ports 18 (and virtual port 19) and port 20 (and virtual port 21.) To use only one COIN-4016, the UPLs associated with the unused ports must be disabled, by un-checking the enabled checkboxes in the UPL page in AZ Edit.
The AZ Edit partial file can be downloaded by pressing the button below.
The remember directory checkbox should be ticked before uploading the file to AZ Edit.
Once connected to the intercom, the COIN-4016 panels will operate with the on-air microphone muting whenever an intercom talk key is enabled.
Correct configuration on the panel keys will handle the talk and listen keys on the virtual port, for the right hand commentator.
