Using the ISO Function in AZ Edit.

Most often used for cameras running from a CCU, the ISO function in AZ Edit is a useful tool that can be applied to any ports that are members of a partyline.

ISO’s work on the same principle as an IFB, but the input (mix minus) of an IFB can only be an intercom port, not a partyline.

Calling an ISO will temporarily “pull” the port out of the partyline, for the duration that the ISO is keyed, allowing two way communication. The port returns to the partyline when the ISO is released.

To key multiple ISOs simultaneously, either set up a key group to key the required keys, or place a key with “AC” (All Call) on the panel. The AC key will call all keys to the left of it, up to a blank key.
