Pairing A Wireless Scanner To An Apollo Series PAT Tester

It’s possible to pair our existing black and yellow Bluetooth scanners to the Apollo PAT testers.

Here is the docs for the barcode scanners – just scan the settings:

1) Set the scanners Bluetooth Mode

 2) Set the SPP Mode

3) Clear Pairing Info from the scanner

4) Set the Bluetooth Transmission Speed – Low

5) I would also advise renaming the Scanner using the Modify Bluetooth Name Function and adding the same label to the scanner.

To connect on the PAT tester:

1) Go to Main Menu

2) Press F4 (Options)

3) Press F3 (Connectivity Settings)

4) Press F2 (Bluetooth Search)

5) Let it search until you see the scanner appear.

6) Press F5 (Back)

7) For each box (Bar Code, Printer, Mobile Device) Select the dropdown and select the appropriate device.

8) Press F4 (Save)

9) Press F1 (Home)

10) Press F1 (PAT)

11) Press F2 (Update PAT Records)

Then each time you turn it on, make sure the cursor is in the barcode text box
