Information below about the IP Mini to HDMI converters.
We found an issue with the fans on the BMD IP Mini to HDMI converters.
The Internal fan will work its way loose from its mount causing it to catch on the chassis and stop spinning. This will in turn cause the unit to overheat. There is no audible or software warning after the fan has failed however while it is starting to work loose you will hear the fan hitting the chassis. Pic1 shows the fan mounting failing.

The affected units are from very late 2024 to very late 2025.
Fix:
BM have issued new fan units that replace the entire internal assembly.
