DANTE Domain Manager at E2

DDM (DANTE Domain Manager) is installed on the network at E2 and is used to manage domains such as in The Bridge production facility. There are some differences in using DANTE Controller because the domains are now managed.

DANTE Controller users require a login which is managed in DDM.

DDM sits on VLAN 10 at 192.168.10.10 and is accessed by typing this IP address in a browser. A generic login for freelancers with limited privileges has been created.

username is: Freelance
password: Cre@t1ve

You do not need to log into DDM itself to use DANTE Controller but you will need to use your DDM credentials from within DANTE Controller to view the devices to have assess to.

Once logged in you need to select the domain from the drop down.

Enrolled Devices

Devices enrolled in a domain in DDM can only be in one domain.

If a device has been enrolled in a domain and is removed without being un-enrolled you will not be able to use it on another network (including on non-DDM networks) until the enrolment details are cleared from it.

· Connect the device directly to a pc running DANTE Controller

· Ensure the device has an IP address in the same subnet as the network port it is connected to.

· Double click the device when it appears in DANTE Controller to go to the device view and from the menu go to clear device details
