Luminex 10-port Switch Fails to Power Bolero Antenna on PoE

Issue reported by Leigh Reeve, November 2019.

Symptoms: Bolero antenna is not getting POE from the Luminex switch. No POE LED active on antenna and you are forced to use the PSU to power.

The issue seems to be in the PoE handshake with the switch and is solved by doing a soft reset of the switch. Luminex switches have several levels of reset. The first just resets hardware retaining port settings, IP address and password and solves the issue described.

On the Luminex switch, locate the Mode button. Press and hold until the green LEDs turn red. Hold for two seconds, then release. Power cycle the switch.

Note that holding the button for longer will cause a more complete reset of the switch, resetting configurations and password too.
