It is possible to interface a C3 beltpack without the need to use a C44+ but instead a Riedel performer C22. The unit will connect to an odd numbered Artist, COAX card port from the AES1 COAX port.
When configuring the Artist port, it should be set to a 4-wire AES and NOT as a C3 beltpack.
Do the same for the next even numbered port and Director will associate this port with the previous one.
Set the dip switch on the C22 to position 5. This will place the device in the correct clocking state.
Drag a conference to the vox action of the first port, this will be channel A on a C3 digital beltpack connected to DPL 1 on the C22.Drag another conference to the even numbered port, this will be channel B on DPL1 of the C3 beltpack.
