Unity Connect to Interface Partylines

Unity Connect can be used to interface partylines or to introduce audio from a remote location to an existing partyline system. In this example Clearcom Helixnet is interfaced with a remote Riedel Performer partyline using a usb io device.

Remotes tab

At the host end of the system Unity Connect requires port forwarding to be setup but there is no requirement at the guest end. In the remotes tab of Unity Connect server the remote name should be entered but the IP address should be left blank. The default PORT is 20102 but can be changed if required.

A green light will indicate that the servers are connected.

Outgoing tab

The remote server should be added from the drop down list on the left and then enabled by checking the box. The outgoing channels should be named and enabled by clicking under the send column on the right.

Incoming tab

The incoming channels will visible once the remote server is selected from the drop down list and enabled. These labels are not editable in this view and the audio should be routed to the destination by highlighting the crosspoint.
