Sony 55″ and 65″ TV’s have 3 different modes: Normal/Pro settings and Pro.
Normal mode: This is the default mode. [Pro mode] functions are not available in this mode.
Pro settings mode: This mode allows you to set various settings of [Pro mode] functions.
Pro mode: This is the operation mode for professional use where you can use the [Pro mode] functions. By default this mode doesn’t have video/audio/photo playback enabled.
How to change the mode:
When the Monitor is in Normal mode: • Go to [Home (Menu)] > [Apps] > [Pro mode tool], then select the mode you want to change. TV will reboot automatically.
When the Monitor is in the Pro mode: Press the activation keys described below on the remote control in order within a one second interval and TV will reboot automatically.
How to know are you in Normal or Pro mode?
Press [Home], if there is Settings and Google Play services visible in the menu and there is no [Pro Settings in process] in blue bar on top of the picture , you are in Normal mode of operation.
If you press [Home] and there is no Settings in the menu, you are in Pro mode and they way to change it to Normal you need to press activation keys to access Pro Settings mode from where you can change to Normal mode.
Export Pro mode settings to a USB
While in Pro settings mode you can export Pro settings to a USB and then clone it to another Sony FW-55BZ35F and FW-65BZ35F TV’s.
To apply the extracted settings to another TV, change the mode to Pro Settings and insert USB with extracted data, notification will appear where you need to choose to import the data.
Once data is imported you can start the Pro mode. Default setup data files are available here. You need to copy the files to the root of the USB drive.
Clip Playback – loop
Sony Tv’s playback single file in loop without showing OSD, once you start the playback press Options on the remote control and go to Play options where you can set Repeat One option.
If you set Repeat all then OSD shows up between 2 clips.
How to factory default Sony Tv’s?
- Turn on the TV.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Settings.
- Select Storage & reset.
- Select Factory data reset.
- Select Erase Everything.
- Select Yes.
If the Home screen cannot be displayed (the Home button on the remote control does not work) you can perform a Force Factory Reset on Android TV (if the TV has Three buttons).
