UNREAL 4.27 Project Display Setup

Guide for setting up Unreal projects onto the machines at ARRI. Please follow the steps in order below.

PLUGINS:

Below are a list of essential plugins needed for nDisplay unreal projects to work correctly with the ARRI Stage and cameras:

  1. nDisplay enabled.
  2. Depending on your tracking system, enable XR, Vicon, or Mosys. Along with LiveLinkOverNDisplay.
  3. Stage Monitor: Included in Unreal, just need to enable it.
  4. NVIDIA DLSS Unreal Engine Plugin (optional): Available for 4.26, 4.27, and 5.0 Latest version: https://developer.nvidia.com/rtx/ray-tracing/dlss/get-started#ue-version
  5. ARRI Live Link Metadata: The Plugin streams relevant metadata from the ARRI camera system to the Unreal Engine via the Universal Motor Controller (UMC-4).   6. Switchboard: Is a Python application for controlling multiple remote devices and relies on the companion application SwitchboardListener to communicate with them.
