Apple have decided that opening apps from unidentified developers is now a setting that will not stick.

Example of the error you may see when opening an app designed by an unidentified developer.

Should you run into the error above, then you can force open the app from within System Preferences > Security & Preferences, or you can run the command below in terminal to fix it permanently for your show.

How to force open an app from System Preferences.

The command for the terminal is: Sudo spct1 –master-disable
