It is possible to use Bolero as an IFB source by manipulation of the audio channels within the NSA.
Two audio channels are required for each IFB. The channels should be set up as follows.
Channel | Type | Input | Output |
IFB | 4-wire split | Mix Minus | IFB rtn |
Talent | input | Pre fade mic |
In the Audio channels page, the IFB channel should be set to always listen to the Mix Minus
On the Beltpacks that require the IFB function create a Talk High Priority key where the destination is IFB.
Set the priority dim of the IFB channel from the general tab to the required amount.
In order for the Bolero packs to hear the return from the IFB destination (in this example the Presenter pre-fade mic) you can either
- In the Beltpack “Always” page, set a listen to the audio channel (Talent)
- Create a latching listen key to the Talent audio channel
