Our Knowledge Base started as a place for our staff to write notes and articles on anything useful that they have worked out. From there it has expanded to a resource for all our offices and freelancers to contribute to and access, being accessed more than 250,000 times since it’s launch.
The general rule is this; if you have had to explain something to more than three people, or have spent more than 10 minutes Googling something, stick it in an email to Knowledge Base to save you time next time.
A small team of CTs engineers and technical co-ordinators look after the site, adding submitted posts and edits in between their day jobs. We will get around to dealing with all your emails and comments, but it may take us a few days if we are busy.
Knowledge Base is a public resource, so the more of you who contribute, the better it becomes. There are some posts which we have to keep to ourselves and restrict to staff only, but these are normally relating to our R&D efforts, or contain usernames and passwords that we don’t want to become public knowledge. If you are on site for us, I’m sure you can find a full-timer who can get you the info you are looking for.
Thanks for stopping by,
The KB Team
